Joy Winchester brings the practical application of educational neuroscience to life across all ages—from early childhood and K–12 education to adult learning and personal development. Her passion lies in supporting vulnerable and underserved populations, including children, teens, individuals who are neurodivergent, as well as incarcerated adults, recovering addicts, and those experiencing homelessness.
My work is grounded not only in neuroscience, but in real-world application—years of working directly in classrooms, systems, and high-stress environments where strategies have to work in real time.
I do not deliver pre-packaged trainings. Every experience is designed based on the people in the room, the environment, and the real challenges being faced.
Because there is no universal strategy; only understanding the brain in front of you.
Joy has completed advanced coursework in educational neuroscience through Johns Hopkins University and Butler University, and holds an international certification in neuroscience and coaching to support brain-based behavior change and adult learning.
As a national speaker, Joy weaves powerful research in neuroscience with real-world insight, engaging audiences around topics like trauma, executive functioning, challenging behavior, and motivation. She is the founder of Wired for Success: The Joy of Neuro, a neuroscience-based coaching and consulting practice that provides brain-based coaching for kids, adults, and parents.
Joy’s work is known for its heart, practicality, and science-backed clarity—and often includes the calm presence of her registered therapy dog in her coaching space.
Disclaimer: Coaching is not therapy. My work is neuroscience-informed, not clinical or diagnostic. If you're seeking therapy or mental health treatment, I encourage you to connect with a licensed provider.
